Unsere jüngste Trans-Afrika Reise begann im Juni 2010 in Nairobi, Kenia und endete im Mai 2011 in Neckarhausen. Die genaue Reiseroute könnt Ihr der Google Earth Grafik unten entnehmen. We took notes on all campsites, national parks and border crossings while we were on the road going north. The link below leads to an html file with names, GPS coordinates, prices and further details, which might assist you in planning your safari as a self-drive tourist. The data is sorted by country starting with Kenia and ending with Morocco. Be aware that the evaluation of campsites reflects our personal opinion and that things change fast in africa.

Nach 11 Monaten, 24 Ländern und 40.000 Kilometern ist es vollbracht. Wir sind - mit Landy - zu Hause angekommen. Jetzt heißt es die Erlebnisse zu verarbeiten und unsere Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse so in unser Leben einfließen zu lassen, dass sie ausstrahlen. Wir bedanken uns bei den Menschen deren Weg wir auf dieser Reise gekreuzt haben. Diese Begegnungen haben uns reicher gemacht. „What you learn on a journey like this is not in the minds of teachers“, sagt Mohamed aus Marokko. Das Leben ist die beste Schule, dem schließen wir uns an.
